Azithromycin
Azithromycin (Cephradine, Velosef) is an organic compound with the chemical formula C38H72N2O12, a macrolide antibiotic. It is characterized by resistance to β -lactamase and has a rapid and reliable bactericidal effect on drug-resistant Staphylococcus aureus and many other bacteria that are resistant to broad-spectrum antibiotics.
