Curcumin

Curcumin is a natural active component extracted from the rhizome of turmeric. It belongs to the category of polyphenolic compounds and possesses anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Studies have shown that it may have certain benefits for joint health, cardiovascular system, and nervous system, but its bioavailability is low. It needs to be enhanced through special formulations or combined with other components (such as piperine from black pepper) for better absorption.
