L-Threonine
L-Threonine is an essential amino acid with the chemical formula C4H9NO3. It is a white crystalline powder with a melting point of 255-257℃. It is highly soluble in water. In the feed industry, L-Threonine is used as pig feed. In the pharmaceutical field, it is used to synthesize the intermediate L-Threonine-N-para-nitrophenylsulfonate for chloramphenicol, and is also applied as a nutritional enhancer in the food industry.
